A compilation of ten of the most fearsome and awesome lion roars caught on camera. Some of the lions roaring were filmed in zoos but most of the roaring lions are recorded in the wild.
Lions are native to Africa and can roar for many reasons, but always to communicate. They have the rudest roar of any big cat. Male lions can roar as a show of strength or to show signal their territory. Lions can often roar to find if more lions are nearby. A lions roar is a low pitched bellowing sound, sometimes the lion's roar can sound like a low growl.

I loved the most hearing the cubs trying to roar like their dad. It is heard to realize those little cute cubs are going to grow up looking and being like their dad: MANEATERS. Thank you for the video. 🦁🦁

My special needs son really likes lions 🦁 because they're mentioned many times in the Bible and because of the 1994 animated Disney blockbuster The Lion King 🦁🤴 he especially loves that movie 🎥📺📽🎞📼🎬💽💿📀 because he says it is very powerful and in certain ways at intervals divine 🔥🥀✡✝️😇👼. I personally think that a lions roar sounds like a cross between a dinosaur 🦕🦖 and a tiger 🐅.

Number 4 and 5(i think) is literally saying "rawr" lol, the roar thats actually a roar. Also cubs joining so cute like a domestic cat... Until it grows up ofc😂
