I appreciate you taking the time and effort bringing less know tools to our attention. Never heard of Bessey before but I will look into them. The collapsible cart is a great idea. The 4 plane laser looks very useful with plenty of accessories. They look well made and should help me with a stubborn problem of my lamp leaning and my office chair from moving across the room because of a very un-level floor.

I would love the LAMP to keep me on the level when doing projects. The battery changer was very interesting especially if you have a battery die for your favourite drill or other battery brand. I love the interchangeable battery system! All you need to do now is a deep dive and take it apart to see what cells it uses, maybe a torture test.. contact the manufacturer for a few more so you can do destructive testing head to head against other brands; then we can see whether we have extra door stops or if our Lamp will be bright.

Now that sounds like a great idea! I think I should do that. I didn't want to destroy the ones i have because I actually have a few tools that I need adapters for, so i'll definetly be using this one for sure. Love the devoh LAMP 😁 I have a Bosch but it has a red LED LAMP. It isn't visible in my shop (very brightly lit), so I have to turn out the lights to see it clearly. I'd like to replace it but, it's never a priority, except when I need a LAMP.

It not so much that I'm stuck on Bessey cLAMPs😆. The Bessey clamps were what the BORG and Blue carried, so that's what I bought. They had really good sales, at the time (less than half what they are now). I continued with the Bessey parallel clamps because the last thing I need is to have slightly different sized clamps when I've got glue drying. Last year, as a Black Friday deal, the BORG was selling two medium duty 18" and two light duty 8" DeWalt quick clamps for $30, IIRC, so I picked up a bunch. I should have bought more. Peachtree Woodworking (check them out - some stuff is 1/3 - 1/2 what Rockler and Woodcraft sell the same, or similar), had 12" and 18" heavy duty bar clamps for $10. If you're ever in Atlanta, Peachtree and Highland (expen$ive) are well worth a stop. I'm not all that partial to one manufacturer. Sometimes having identical clamps is important. OTOH, there are often big sales and I'm definitely in the "can't have too many clamps" club, though I'm getting there. 😉

@@kwilliams2239 Oh thank you so much for sharing this! I was just thinking about checking out some other brands like this. I ran into some issues this week (ran out of clamps). hard to believe. I feel like every time I get a few more. I'm like this will surely be enough! I was building 6 cabinets at once and of course. Ran out!
