Ok, I could honestly profess my love & relationship with Incubus all day, but better stop cuz whos really gonna read all of this anyway! In a nutshell, if you have been blessed with the gift that is Incubus then you know, if not, then allow yourself to aboard the magical life changing journey that starts with their Fungus Amongus, soaring free till your caught in their Trust Fall, & I promise you everything Allison & I described as an Incubus fan will become yours as well. I was one of the roadies for the re recording of morning view. I was a sophomore in high-school when that album came out and its so nostalgic for me. So it was awesome being in that house and seeing where the magic took place.

Why would people feel like they needed to say negative things about the album? It’s SO GOOD! And he’s Brandon Boyd! An amazing lyricist and one of the GOATS.! The contribution this band has made to our generation of music speaks for itself. They deserve respect. 💯🙋🏼‍♀️ They’ll always be one of the best! They still got it and put on a live show that’s 🔥. Love Incubus!

I’m thankful they stayed with creating what they loved to play and didn’t submit to outside industry influence That’s one result among many why I chose to outrageously love and support them

Old school Incubus fan and Mike Einziger nerd (he’s my Jimi Hendrix), and honestly I have to say in all these years this was probably the best interview I ever saw from te band. It felt most of the time just a conversation between great friends, in the best possible way and sense. I hope you interview them again when they release a new album/music. Morning view reimagined sounded awesome... I didn't expect to hear the voice of a 20yrs old Brandon... What I heard was amazing, the musicality reimagined, the versions more like the live versions... This album got me through secondary and the university. I can play this album on the drums with my eyes closed, but now this new version is an oportunity of relearning all the songs

Also, what an amazing interview from a true fan… when echo got mentioned I knew this was legit because the vocals on the new version literally made me cry… Nicole vocals were so beautiful… so well done… definitely excited to dive in and watch more episodes

Had fun watching the interview! Brings me back to my teen days. Love how incubus has always been humble. Their music have been with me for more than half of my life. I will never get tired listening to them. Old or new.

Hi Allison. I got my chance to watch your newest Q&A with Incubus + Nicole. The band is totally amazing. I listened to Incubus back in the 2000s thanks to my dad's old 1997 (model by year) Nissan Quest van. Drive is one of my favorite songs from Incubus. The lyrics are pretty solid, and so are vocals w/ instrumentals! Nicolr certainly did a nice job being a Bass player with Incubus. And good Q&A episode, Allison! 👏

Such a great interview, I couldn't be more happy and proud to have supported such an incredible group of musicians over the years. My favorites from the rerecording have to be 11 a.m., Echo, Under My Umbrella, and Circles. Everyone is shining bright, and it makes the entirety of the Incubus experience so much more wholesome. If you guys ever check the comments, Brandon you sound incredible and I'm glad you prioritize your mental health, Mike, you kick ass and I've learned so much of your works, the short and sweet solo in The Original is my favorite thing you've ever written, Jose, you're an absolute master, the Neal Pert of Nu Metal/Alt Rock, and a great inspiration to a friend of mine, Kilmore, not often in these interviews, but appreciated nonetheless, the new sounds and hidden mysteries he weaved into the rerecorded tracks are pleasant surprises at every turn, and finally Nicole, who has learned it seems that Dancing is in fact Not A Crime and whose energy and pleasant personality shine on stage while absolutely crushing her vocals and bars. This was my first episode of this podcast, Allison is so tight, a great conversationalist for sure, melding right into the chemistry of the group, she's a rad girl and did a great job of keeping this a fun hour!

Incubus was easily one of the seminal bands of my youth, and I've enjoyed their vast and ever evolving catalogue of music ever since. This felt like an intimate conversation amongst friends, so thank you for bringing out such fascinating insights and amazing anecdotes. Also stoked for this new era of Incubus with Nicole Row in the fold. Ben will be missed, but I love her infectious enthusiasm and energy.

Loved listening to Incubus stories. How a song came along. I never imagined Steve Vai got an influence in the making of Aqueous transmission. Such a huge fan. Still am listening to Incubus right up to this moment and play along with my guitar. Morning View is my personal favorite. Next, Make yourself. But sadly after that i never listened to other Incubus albums.

I was a teenager and saw them at Copps coliseum here in Hamilton Ontario Canada, the first Live show I ever saw and still the best one, the way they cut half way through to announce “now back to the opening band ghost planet”, the lights went black, a few seconds later Mike starts hammering at the intro to a certain shade of green. Best fake out to date! I still have the original ticket and some overpriced street art prints I picked up after the show lol

This girl i dated way back in 2002 was a huge Incubus fan and at the time.i was not into them. Fast forward 2 years i was totally diff8nf Incubus. I am a big fan of Dirk Lance and i had hoped he would eventually make his way back in to the band. I went to see Incubus on the 1st tour with Ben on bass and it was great... Nicole is super talented and i think her playing fits the band... Congrats to Nicole for joining and leaving her mark in Incubus!!!! Hope to catch them some place soon

This was such a great interview, I listened on spotify. I don't know if I'm alone in my experience though, the audio mix seemed way off. Like I was constantly having to crank up the volume to hear Nicole talk and then someone else would talk and it would be super loud but then even everyone seemed like they were either too close or too far from Mike's and the volume was all over the place. Honestly the intro to the show was so much louder than any of the actual interview.

Yes, Jeff Buckley...it did not even hit me till recently how much Jeff was influenced by 80s era of King Crimson. Just listen to Adrian Belew on the songs, Waiting Man, Two Hands and Heartbeat for examples. So great.

I saw incubus open up for Mötley Crüe at the cow palace in San Francisco. It had to be back in the early 2000s. I just can’t seem to find the year on line. Unfortunately, the Mötley Crüe audience didn’t take well to incubus and was trying to boo them off the stage. I felt really bad for them. I really enjoyed their performance very much.

I'm Super Excited for a new album. I always click as quick as possible on Incubus interviews. I have HS so I'm very interested and hopeful that Mikey helps us with this skin condition. There are not a lot of treatment options for us other than to be on antibiotics.
