the original version of this song had Joe as the featured artist next to Big Pun, but i was surprised this was a thing back in 2000. sadly this song was released about seven months after the passing of Big Pun due to it being a remix of one of his biggest songs it also reminded me of the whole Jay-Z/Linkin Park crossover that MTV did around the early 2000s as well. what i had no knowledge of in relation to this song was it was originally an interpolation of the Joe song "Don't Wanna Be a Player". i forget where i heard this remixed version initially but i was certain it was on the radio back in the day too.
