Independence Day 2023: PM Modi hoists National Flag at iconic Red Fort

Жыл бұрынThe nation echoes with zeal and enthusiasm on the occasion of 77th Independence Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Red Fort for Independence Day celebrations. Upon his arrival, he was received by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, MoS Defence Ajay Bhatt. Indian Prime Minister inspected Guard of Honour at iconic Red Fort on 77th I-Day. PM Modi hoisted the National flag at the ramparts of the historic monument. He will deliver the customary address to the nation from the Red Fort. This year’s Independence Day will culminate the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations.

Please Indians, don't get distracted, watch this video carefully. When Modiji pulled down the rope to hoist the flag, at once the national anthem started. The group of choir and music team not even looked at the flag whether it was fully unfurled or not. Modiji immidietely gave attention to the national anthem and moreover there is a canopy over his head which might have caused him unnoticed the flag.🙏🙏 Jai hind. jai Bharat.🙏🙏

Isn't the flag "hoisted" on Independance day? Here it was merely unfurled - not even unfurled correctly - as is normally done on Republic day. Very, very strange indeed. And this PM cld not even unfurl the flag properly. Such a shame for our nation.

The national flag refuse to unfurl because the Prime minister and Home minister refuses to see the real picture of what is going on in Manipur. Its India's Independence day, but Indian citizens of the hills in manipur are in the trench defending the Meitei intrusion, unable to celebrate Independence day. Such a big and honourable event, yet they haven’t planned and practiced the timing of flag hoisting. 😢 Half hoisted and stuck flag, premature anthem band, hurried salute. The lady just stood there without checking on the flag. It was disgraceful.
