ACTUALLY, The fact that we are able to house these refugees just goes to show that the government has the ability to fix the issue of housing and homelessness but they simply do not give enough of a shit. Please don’t blame the poor people who are coming here to (to escape literal war)blame the useless shower of idiots in government. These are two separate issues that don’t necessarily go hand in hand but it absolutely shows how little the government cares about us.

These men are coming from safe countries like Georgia, Algeria, Somalia etc and with no documents, no passports (or are destroying passports upon arrival) and putting them in the best hotels in the country with three meals a day, promising them free houses, welfare and medical care, while Irish families are being evicted and homeless daily. Look at towns and villages all over Ireland, they are being flooded with migrants men from goodness knows where, making Ireland unsafe Irish women and children.

That’s why landlords are leaving the market because houses that were worth fuck all are now 3 or 4 more than there are actually worth. It’s greed nothing else. U know that 52% of profit is payable to the goverment while in poland is 8%. Unfortutbely i bought in 2006 at the heigh of the boom and have now moved abroad. After taken into account everything i put about 600 per month towards the morthage. I am also rent capped, my apartment rents for 1200 for a 2bed near dublin citywest. Not everyone is a greedy landlord. The point is that if u taxed the profit at 10% instead i would stay on and it would just about breal even after captial payment.
