If these are Sanwa buttons, it should be pretty straightforward to replace worn buttons. Even customize with some of the newer arcade buttons like with OBS-MX switches to get an even faster response time.

@@musicmarketing For me it's mostly about precise and organic control of parameters. I actually use it for live looping, specifically ambient music and ASMR. Each column is dedicated to a mixer track. Top knob is input and output volume to the loop and the other 3 control effects. My use case is pretty niche, but I do have a tutorial for how I set it up if you are interested.

Dude, I absolutely love you - have been following for the last couple years or more. Not to be “that guy” but the midroll ads have been a bit of a drag lately. They pop up ever 60-120 seconds. Can’t really get my head into the content.

How did you assign it to have both drums and melody? I got the 16 button one thinking I could just assign the buttons to any scales I want but it’s not looking like I can get anything but chromatic

Anyone know if it is possible to change the notes on the grid to resemble 5+ semitones per button vertically? (Like a bassguitar)

Yeah, we handmake the 64s in the US, that's a big reason why the pricetag. It's worth it. But we're biased.

@@djtechtools totally worth it tbh. I have one myself (I ordered right at the start of Covid so I must have put some pressure on y’all sorry!) I have always wanted to experiment with a midi fighter and Shawn’s work was super impressive. So I bought one with no experience with midi all like that LOL. I’m in college at Full Sail now, but I still occasionally pull the 64 out and practice lines in Shawn’s spring edition demo file. Thanks DJ TechTools! You’re the greatest!
