Revealing the new temporary machine that I picked up last week with the MINI. This machine is an Indesit WIDL102 Washer Dryer, with a 5kg wash and 4kg drying capacity, a 1000rpm spin speed and is a basic model too.
Nonetheless, only needing a new door trim, or a minor repair to it, this machine boasts quite a lot of surprises, including being a Sensor Dryer model. This was possibly manufactured around 2004/2005 as the programming resembles the Indesit W100/Evolution models.
Running Programme 1 - Whites Prewash (White Cotton Heavy Soil with Auto-Prewash), with no options and Cupboard Dry setting. Didn't do too bad of a job, with some very entertaining spins too!

I love washer dryers and I’m glad you’re featuring a few more of them. My Samsung ECO Bubble thingummy has a top spin speed of 1400, but the benefit of slower speeds is less creasing. The problem with my machine is that you set a top speed, say 800 for shirts or bedding, and if you program a dry cycle it automatically goes back to 1400. So you have to do a wash only at 800, then do a separate dry cycle. It works quite well, washing doesn’t come out looking like it’s been thrown in the bin!

Same! It has a very powerful and fast emptying pump, something I have not usually witnessed on these machines before!

3:13 The stain removal option on these Indesits is a bleaching cycle. There's supposed to be an insert that goes in the prewash compartment, and the bleach is added to it (therefore it's not compatible with program 1, which includes a prewash.)

This is why I love my Indesit if load is unbalanced it'll still try it's best and if it can't balance it'll do a reduced spin only had mine skip a spin about 1 or 2 times ever and the wash and rinse performance on em for me is amazing

Hello. If there is no serial number in front under the hatch, then there should be a label on the back of the machine on the right or left and the serial number should be in the lower right corner and the date of manufacture of the washing machine is indicated there

Yeah it’s on the back, but I won’t be moving the machine out until the day it sells, so that’ll be when I find out the serial number

@@HooverA3060 I think this is a machine from the end of 2005 - the beginning of 2006, since the ACC motor began to be putted from the end of October 2005 until the beginning of April 2006 for Indesit / Ariston without drying.

Yeah it is, I never use the setting though as I prefer stuff being completely dry

I’m not keeping it. I highly dislike these and it’s far too new for what I go for with Indesit. It’s also far to slow for my boundary of how fast spin speed is for me in this era

I don’t like 1000RPM machines either as the spin speed is too slow I always get 1400rpm models

Those ranges does overspeeded Final spins at 1100/1150rpm (actually all interm spins are 1000rpm)

These ones are actually 800rpm, I can tell because the rotation of the drum and vibration of the machine itself is matched with 800rpm, but the Final Spin does overshoot slightly and then come back down to 1000rpm again

use the time dry on this one as the sensor might need replacing on this one

Time dry is a lot worse, as you may end up overdrying stuff. It's always better to use the sensor dryer mode so you don't end up ruining clothes. As I have done this mistake many times before

It does indeed have a sort of GEC sound to the ACC motor. Also sounded like a vintage Hoover on the acceleration

Washes and rinses well, can't fault it on that though, even if the tumbles are slower than other machines

I'm not going to be keeping it. It's too new for what I accept for Indesit, too slow for what I accept for this era and absolutely rubbish at drying. I hate this range actually This range of Indesit will never be in my collection
