The non South Indian people who indeed pay seriousness and importance to south India and its people are the same ones who get discriminated and insulted on basis of language/face racism, humiliation and get abused. Personally experienced, I respected south India a lot, learnt two south indian languages in order to display respect to south Indian cultures, and to mingle/blend well in the community here, until recently when some events woke me up 👍🏻 I realised I never belonged to South India, and no matter what I do, I'm not going to be accepted. Thankful though 👍🏻 for the eye openers and extreme humiliation!! So yes, now I'm gonna be immune 👍🏻

This issue has been there for decades. Good to see india is recognizing and analyzing such cases than just marking as mysteriously dead for some reason. Western countries spend lot of money to understand reasons behind, but in india it was lacking. Now atleast they are recognizing the work done and enlightening people on such issues. good to see change coming in the way it is supposed to be but still happening much much slower.

The estimated deaths and actual reported numbers were close only in kerala and the figures were far apart in all northern states..Also the climate in Kerala is tropical with heavy monsoons.. Many diseaes are reported and the state health dept is full on with importing the newer drug miltifosine from Germany for treating this dealdly disease for three patients..

@@ashapraveenkumar8257Yes, during the first wave Kerala model was noticed and discussed worldwide. During 2nd wave, airports were opened and all those who were working abroad returned and cases increased, but still the no: of deaths compared to other states when they had the same no: of cases were less. It appeared high coz that time other states had less cases due to herd immunity. Even then Kerala is the state which had the lowest case fatality rate in the country(tbh it was even lesser than the fatality rate of whole India). Otherwise you can check it.
