On Friday (Apr 19), the Philippines will receive its first contracted BrahMos missile from India, marking a significant milestone in defence collaboration between the two nations. The journey of this BrahMos missile, renowned as the world's fastest supersonic cruise missile, commences from Nagpur, India, where it is loaded onto an Indian Air Force (IAF) C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft. Accompanied by three civilian freight liners transporting additional parts and support systems, the missile is poised to bolster the defence capabilities of the Philippine Marine Corps' coastal defence regiment.

I think there is no such weapon in the Navy air defence system not even with the US navy. There is no stoping of this cruse missile for Chinese navy . Get em and roar on pacific against threat .

If the UK cruse missile used by Ukraine could sink Moskova ship than this weapon could be something which no air defence of this world can stop em . This missile range is more impressive ,The Philippine can use it in on the shore to sink any threat from the ship far away and the navy wont need to aquire much ship .

BrahMos may be immensely powerful, just ask yourself these questions:1. How many can Philippines purchase? 2. How many can India supply? when Philippines use up ALL its Brahmos it is exposed. Do anyone know how many missiles China has in stock and how many it can produce during conflict period? My educated guess: enormous numbers say 10,000-50,000 easy. The worse is do not start a conflict with China via an accident or a planned incident, both sides will suffer, worse still Philippines will suffer much more, just refer to Ukraine is a prime example.
