As a matter of fact Gill should not have been selected for T20 and worst still as captain in the first place. If Zimbabwe had fielded well, this match could have gone to the wire. Gill’s catch early in his innings should have been taken and that would have exposed Gill’s selection in playing 11 and as captain. India has to play with 3 pacers with Harsit Rana coming in place of Avesh Khan. Dube or Gaikwad will get dropped in that case as Gill will accommodate himself in the team emphasising his place as captain.

Pant promotion is based on left handed at top where they will be go with two right hand batsman at top in future. Either kl or rutu or gill will be playing in future.we can't afford opener to strike at first ball which can't help every match and if a team has pant,sky,hardik,rinku at end there should be opener to stabilize the innging. Afg opener showed stability at top they both kept the in under there control playing anchor roles and aus did not have another anchor after warner at top which caused them to be out of WC at super 8.
