Nehruji tried to do that, he sent a diplomat with UN proposal for Tibet to be declared separate nation. Their court had English resident & Mao's diplomat too. Mao had promised peaceful autonomous Tibet. Nehru again sent a mission to convince Dalai Lama, but they trusted Chinese more & paid for it.

Yes, India lost a lot of opportunity. But, thank god, Pakistan has the nukes. It is like a beggar having a BMW or a Benz. Does not know how to use it and just like expensive cars nukes are expensive even when they are not used & sitting in a bunker somewhere.

Yes those leaders with Gandhian mentality screw India up. Rama did not lay down his weapon. Krishna did not ask Arjuna to lay down weapons. If we wanted peace, prepared for violence is necessary. Gandhian mentality damaged India badly.

A Punjab Occupied Pakistan is a bigger threat , than Taliban, to world peace. Independence of Baluchistan , Pashtunistan and Sindhudesh is the only way forward.

It is currently impossible because Chinese presence in Pakistan and it's BRI project. China won't allow this to happen.

There is no way India can balkanize pakistan. India should aim in next 10 years that it doesn't balkanize itself. India has too many internal problems. India can defeat pak in a war but balkanization is impossible.

Let alone winning, even fighting a short war against Pakistan will have a destabilizing effect on Pakistan polity who is suffering from many separatist movements and already frail economy will collapse completely. Balkanisation is completely possible if West and China don't rush to save Pakistan to contain India.

If you want to balkanize a nation then you cannot give them the opportunity to feel nationalistic pride and instead feel the ethnic pride. Your every action be it playing cricket, watching cricket, selling medicines, buying onions or importing bollywood talent should be to that end. It’s just not in the hands of government but every individual and entity to look at their action and how it impacts the above said. It’s not easy after 75 years but the fault lines still exist and it takes concerted efforts over a loong period to bear fruit.
