🇮🇳 Namaste from India! I've been wanting to come to India ever since I saw the movie "Dangal" back in 2016 when I was studying in China. At that time, I never thought I would learn Hindi or become this deeply invested in the culture of both Pakistan and India, but alas, 5.5 years later, and here we are. A lot of people told me bad stuff about India. They said you'll get scammed, they said it's dirty, they said you'll feel stressed. Let me say, coming here, first impressions, I haven't felt any of that. The -people are super nice, especially when I speak Hindi/Urdu. I hope you enjoy!

It is your language skills that uniquely separates you from ALL the rest. Your Hindi is not perfect but it is amazingly good and your accent is not bad either (light and not distorted like some newbie Westerners learning Hindi/Urdu). Looking forward to this series. Like many others who've already said it, India is a much, much bigger country compared to either Pakistan or Nepal with LOTs of distinctly different local cultures, cuisines and languages. Enjoy your stay!

Indians when they say, ‘You are my guests’ they feel they like to pay for their food & lodging etc. It becomes a big shock to the Indian when he is invited for dinner in a hotel by a westerner in his/her country and is expected to pay.

Well most people on India pay digitally, that might be a reason ATMs didn't work. You can find payment QR codes in every shop - big and small. All street food shops as well. The paan shop you had tea at, had a QR code too. India has in 2020 beaten China as in terms of total digital transactions. You could try covering this in an episode too.

As a child I had to learn Hindi in Class 4 (as I returned to India after a few years) and it was a challenge at first but then I fell in love with it. I loved learning English and Hindi in school in India; they were my favourite subjects. Your expertise in Hindi is commendable and it seems you have a lot of love for the language. Great to see you in India! The one recommendation i want to give you is that India is a extremely diverse place, so make sure to visit as many places you can, especially the south (especially kerela) and north east they're almost like their own countries with their unique languages and cultures

So it's Pakistan that is illegally occupying 1/3 of Kashmir. Learn to read you won't be this gullible falling in your country Pakistan's propaganda

@@roopalondhe6102 Hindi isn't my first language or mother tongue but I can speak and communicate in Hindi. I tried to learn Malyalam but failed badly, still trying. Also no single language in whole South, you have to learn Kannada, Tamil , Telugu, Malyalam which is next to impossible for us. I request our South Indian brothers to accept Hindi as second Language same as they accepted English. 🙏🏻
