In a significant move, India joined hands with the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), a US led navy alliance comprising of 43 partner nations last year. Experts see this as a shift from New Delhi's usual policy of maintaining strategic autonomy in defence matters. Last month, commandos from the Indian Navy were involved in an operation - which led to the seizure of 940 kilograms of narcotics. This operation, called "crimson barracuda" was completed in collaboration with CMF. While nations joining forces with other defence partners for joint operations overseas is not new, this collaboration is different. It comes at a time when India faces challenges from a more assertive China. In recent years, China has sent more vessels to the Indian Ocean region. As India prepares to counter China on the high seas, how will its partnership with CMF help it contain Beijing's growing aggressions? Palki Sharma brings you a report.

India needs to understand that "quality over quantity". Indian military is the best in the world. It was evident when Chinese army in the dispute region cried uncontrollably when confronted by Indian soldiers. They knew that their lives are at the mercy of Indian super army. It would be the same with the navy. Despite numerically inferior, Indian navy makes up by quality. Quality warships, quality navy, quality weapon system, so, and so forth. China might as well surrender at the sight of Indian military.

India should look clearly what are happening to those countries blindly follow behind someone. For example G7, JP, Korea, Ukraine etc all end up either in war or recession.

Do not think for a second you can threaten India. Out of those 10 countries you listed, only one is in War. And only one is in recession. Both the war and the recession... is caused by Russia and no one is scared by Russia... not even Ukraine. India is strong and plays by the world recognised rules... that means most of the planet will take India's side if it is attacked. Noone owns the open ocean... if China thinks it does... it's in for a shock.

This is why we go to Cozumel it’s quite and safe and the Loacal are friendly and we just all gather at the wall normally theres a bunch of entries to the beach that are free like at la Monina beach front great place cheap food and drinks.

The US outsources jobs to India because it's cheaper - and, by the way, it's US corporations, not some monolithic "USA" - and the US defense companies SELL weapons, and not a lot of them either. There is absolutely NO charity coming from the US to India - get that straight in your head.

US corporations don't necessarily wait for approval from the government to make financial investment decisions - I don't know what country you live in, but that does not happen in the US.
