It is an Ex-showroom price. Not the onroad. Not exciting. 👉The base version of this car ought to have been introduced at a maximum on-road price of Rs. 6 or 6.5 lakh. The higher-end features such as the touch screen infotainment system and reverse parking camera could have been provided as options only for the top variant. The MG Comet's limited range and minimal boot space, combined with a negligible price difference with the Tiago EV, fail to justify its compact size. 👉Price is of paramount importance to individuals from lower and middle-income groups when purchasing a car. While safety features such as airbags are non-negotiable, compromises could be made on high end features like giving AUX/Bluetooth music system instead of touch screen infotainment system, reverse parking sensors instead of reverse parking cameras, and dashboard controls instead of steering mounted controls. 👉With safety being a given, @MGMotorIndia should have priced the Comet at around Rs. 6.5 lakh on-road, given the above compromises. This would have put it in fierce competition with internal combustion engine vehicles, and individuals from the middle class would have considered purchasing a new EV car within their budget, rather than opting for a used petrol/diesel car.

*Issue* The *MG Comet is so costly* 😡😡😡 Just bringing the very same *AIR EV by SAIK* which is sold in Indonesia. No one will buy it.. it only deserves to be less than *4 lakhs* and such a tiny car.. even the wheels are so small that it feels that they would come off if you are at a reasonable speed and crash into a pothole !! With that awful pricing.. who will buy MG Comet ? *TATA's Tiago EV* is so good at 8.5 lakhs starting price❤❤❤ [Its a solid full size hatch as compared to comet] Just by giving big touch screen and some gimmicky features which is such a cheap tactic used by companies.. to lure people to buy their cars ! The steep increase in prices just by giving some tech features is unreasonable! On the contrary: *TiagoEV* is just like a proper ICE car.. strong and reliable.. *MG EV* is cheap and so flimsy Else if it's *10lakhs* then .. its 10000 times better to buy *Hyundai NIOS* 🥰🥰🥰 it given 18kmpl average mileage. And even if you keep 2 lakhs aside [cost difference between MG comet] you can literally drive it for 50,000 kms then only the break-even would happen cost wise.[if you buy the 8 lakh one of the NIOS] And you can go even on long drives 🚗 without worry ! And mostly people don't even drive much after guys cars like these

Nano EV already ha in under jayem neo brand. 24 bhp, 4.5 -6.5L 140km range. This one is around 45bhp 230 claimed range. Tiago EV is around 75 bhp 305 km claimed. If you have few lacs extra go for tiago or comet EV. Car overall longevity is going to be higher for tia go around 2.5 lakh km and similar of mg around 2lakh km. But nano EV battery will be gone by 1.5lakh km

Boot space is very important in India, it should be considered! This car cannot be used as commercial purpose like Ola, Uber where same category so many cars run on that platform!
