To celebrate the 75th year of India’s Independence, Lallantop Films brings forth a documentary which delves into a confrontation of the past memoirs of Partition that divided the fate of the people in India- Pakistan.
The film explores the ideas of identity and nation borders breathing into the beating retreat ceremony on the Wagah-Attari border in Punjab. In doing so, Rajat Sain and Roohani walk closer to the Zero line and find out what remains unidentified in the village Muhar-Jamsher surrounded by Pakistan on all three sides.
While Khushhal Singh’s journey leaves us with a hope to cross a stale division sown in the land years ago, Inder Singh and Constable Manpreet Singh’s love for the land knows no boundaries. This is a story of coming together of a farmer’s life with a Jawan’s pride when he gives his all for the country. This is also a story trying to trace the lives partially exiled for months during war like situations.
The feeling of hyper-nationalism then becomes insignificant as a coexistence is claimed on this line zero. It is a humble attempt by us to look into the personal grief, conflict, and the various emotions felt by the characters’s lived reality on the border area. Watch the backstage blues of the BSF on this 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, and witness a parallel journey towards the line zero.

There are so many things which is shown in this film without exagrating it. Loved the film. My views: Country should respect both, farmers and soldiers in same manner. Wo scene jahan soldier apni pagri sambhal raha hota hai and farmer apni paghri khol ke check kara raha hoga hai …. Was so intense…. Filled my eyes with tears…. Great work Lallantop🫶🏻🫶🏻

Pride, Beauty, Honor The crowd at Pakistan side was merely 60, 70 people. The entire sitting area was almost empty at Pakistan side. But here at our side it was even attended by foreigners. Huge difference of love towards nation from both sides. Love INDIA 🇮🇳

Beautifully portrayed the life near the border line , the two lives one of a caged one being the farmer & other the festivities of Republic Day on both sides. How gala events unfold but at the same time how a framer became a foreign on his own land . To enter he has to take permission but on the other side each Jawan tries to out move others in their guster of Strength .. What a life portrayed on the first line of india's defence ..Great to see & watch

We are live in border area. Our fields are at zero line. We have many difficulties to grow crops there. Tremendous programme by rajat sain and roohani ji ❤.. Jai hind... It shud b played in every school in india... In august first week.. Then the kids will.. Understand the depth n deep of it.. N maintain n realize the value of freedom.. N happiness... N thr great efforts n sacrifices of our freedom fighters n every indian..who gave their lives.. N the indian army... My village is close to border in SriGanganagar district . Border goes through our Farms . Watching this documentary seating here in Canada gave me goosebumps and made me emotional. Great job @thelallantop and congrats to Rajat and Roohani for their hard work .

being watching lallantop since 2016 and first time commenting on Lallantop’s channel , documentry is full of goosebumbs, credit gose to all members of the team, you guys really given your best and i can imagine that it wasn't easy to do a shot specialy on the areas where things aren't easily available, thanks for bringing out the life of border side people..... good luck for upcoming projects, please keep continue with this kind of work it will be notified for years......
