Russia helped India a lot after independence from British. 1) Russia helped India in 1971 war with Pakistan when US and Britain invaded us. If not for Russia India would have been defeated. 2) Whenever there was kashmir problem in the UN Russia supported India by using its veto power.india never trusts America but we trust Russia
