Austin Powers Gurkhas are a part of Indian Army. Para SF is a special force.. any volunteer from army can join. Ofcourse after tests and training. So, Gurkhas can join too.. everyone needs to pass. By the way the passing percentage is very low.. as that of US Delta Force. very rare.

They never comes in top 10 special forces in the world because the best of the best are not known popularly,like green berets,people know about delta force and green berets but they don't know how many soldiers and how many operations they have done,that's why para sf is far more better than some international special forces

I don't understand why the news is making this sounds so awesome as if they just woke up and realised there such thing as a special forces in our world. This is special forces we are talking about, every men ever trained in special forces had to go through exhausting training. Even the Olympians do not go through this style of training that the men in special forces are faced with. I have a lot of respect for every man that has been accepted into special forces and those who are training to be a part of one. They are true elite.

Can't have said any better. Here, we can see few people disrespecting these brave men and their country. I don't think that does any justice. Para (SF) is one of the best in India and they have the highest of respect in my heart. I respect Pakistan's special commandos as well, they are highly trained as well. C'mon guys, commandos are commandos no matter from which country they are

No matter which country you are born in as long as you stand for true justice and protect the world from harm you will always have the respect of good men. This is what true men are made of or I just think that way.

Incorrect about the tattoos. I know several jawans and officers who sport tattoos... the only condition is it should not be visible when you wear your uniform. The same rule applies to para guys as well... .the privilege is with regards to facial hair. Army personnel normally cannot grow bears except Sikhs. Para commandos however are allowed to grow bears irrespective of religion.
