Shikhar was the reason for India's dominance in ICC events in the last decade. Being a lefty together with Rohit he used to absorb the pressure and also distrubed the bowlers focus on keeping it in same line and length. He is one of the best white ball players and openers India has produced. And its really unfortunate how he has been treated by management and leadership.

Just 2 comments - (1) Commentator mentioned Yuvraj Singh instead of Shikar Diwan when he reached his 50. (2) Not sure whether this was politics or I'd rather hope this was an error by the Commentators. India did win this match due to Shikar Diwan's Aggressive foundation at the top, followed by Rohit and Virat. Nowhere was any Credit given to Shikar, but all that the Commentators mentioned was Rohit and Virat's innings. In all fairness I felt Shikar was left out in the end, which is not right at all. After all Cricket is all about TEAM WORK !!! Don't You agree Commentators ???
