Greko-Roman people used to worship the sun to wave winter off after winter solstice on and around 25 December. First world Christianity now maybe tolerant, obviously because of lack of political power and guilt, but the way Christianity operates in developing countries is a lot different and worse. I know the history very well my friend .Christianity was there before the Portuguese arrived in Goa .Portuguese rules were very strict no crimes no murders .People use to keep their doors open and go anywhere they want. As long as missionaries don't try to convert its all ok its very irritates me when ever they force me to go church and do prayer I work in hospital as most Christians nun are there they call 1 hour early to sing Jesus song I wonder I am a Medico or some short of nun chanting Jesus Jesus I do not appreciate they don't respect other religion and force them to read Bible
