Hi sorry I don’t speak your language but intrigued to learn from your Frankfurt layover experience. Could you stay overnight inside the airport (without going through immigration) to wait for the connecting flight (I saw your short video of people sleeping, so I guessed you stayed inside?). Also, were there any rules to follow when staying overnight inside the airport? I’m flying via Frankfurt too in a couple of months and would like to know if I could just sleep on the benches lol. Thanks a bunch!

you can roam inside the airport - all shops close by 8-9 pm - tough to sleep on those benches as they are slippery and no such rules. Water is not allowed during immigration

Hello there, I am planning a trip to Italy from India in oct with 15 hour layover in Zurich starting 7am. I am choosing this so that I can see Zurich in 1 day. Since for Italy I will have already taken schengen visa, will I have to take another transit visa for ZUrich as technically my first entry in Schengen will be zurich. WHat will be the procedure & how can I apply for the transit visa? I dont have any US visa. pls help!

Your Schengen visa is valid for entry via Zurich as your major stay period is in Italy. You do not need additional transit visa for Switzerland.

Some have mentioned that a transit visa is mandatory for layovers longer than 12 hours, while others have said it is not required. Could you please clarify whether I need a transit visa for my layover in Amsterdam?

Brother , my flight is from delhi to toronto via amsterdam (5 hours layover) from delhi to amsterdam it’s air india airline and from amaterdam to toronto it’s air canada , still i need transit visa ? Because i have to check in luggage again in amsterdam.

@@punjabidubbs6891 if it's a self transfer and asking you to check in luggage like the big 2 bags then u need a visa of that country -- get the ticket checked with agent or call airlines
