Hi bro, our flight is on Dec 20th from India to Hanoi via Vietjet airlines. We have a transit at Ho Chi Minh. Now we just want to know where would be the immigration will it be on Ho Chi Minh during transit or it will be on Hanoi. P.S: We have given the entry port as Hanoi Airport in our Visa.

If you have a layover in Ho Chi Minh City before continuing to Phu Quoc, the visa authorities will expect you to enter through Ho Chi Minh City as it's the first point of entry into Vietnam. Once you arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, you can go through immigration procedures, and then proceed to your connecting flight to Phu Quoc. Thank you!

Hello, As far as I know, your immigration will be done at Ho Chi Minh as your first point of entry in a country is Ho Chi Minh. You have mentioned Hanoi as entry. I have seen couple of people in the past, they had the same issue but didn't face any issue.

Good question. Actually, I was in dilemma which currency to carry. There were couple of reasons to carry USD. 1) It gets exchanged easily with good rate. 2) If it's left as I was left with 200 USD, I can use it in the next international trip. When I reached Hanoi. Just to check if I can convert INR to Dong. I went to a currency exchange, they denied to give me dong in exchange of INR. They said, no body will give you dong with INR if they give, you will get very less conversion rate. My Hanoi video will be posted in a week's time. I have explained the same in that video. Hope it helps.

I am not sure about it. Generally, it does not happen. You can try from another person's card. I don't think for Vietnam visa, you should pay 25USD extra. Also, please check if your card is open for international transactions. I am just guessing.

Please select 25th Sep as they will give visa for 1 month. In that 1 month, you can travel anytime as per your booking.

You can exchange as per your choice, but I don't know the maximum limit. I was carrying USD, I didn't face any issue while exchanging money in Vietnam. In Hanoi, I asked a currency exchanger to give me Vietnamese dong in exchange of INR. They denied.
