India and the United States are enthusiastic to complete the deal for 30 MQ-9B predator armed drones at a cost of more than USD 3 billion, which will assist New Delhi in strengthening its overall surveillance apparatus along the Line of Actual Control and the Indian Ocean.
According to reports, India and the United States, have agreed to expedite the drone deal. and India's national security and defence requirements, include 30 MQ-9B predator armed drones, with 10 for each of the three services)
The officials did not provide any additional information, but they did rule out the possibility of a bureaucratic obstacle or regulatory issues.
When asked by reporters here why the deal announced in the summer of 2017 has been delayed, Assistant Secretary of State for Political Military Affairs Jessica Lewis said, "I have to take that back and check on that.
It's been sitting in limbo for a while, for reasons nobody knows. However, it is expected that the issues were covered during the meetings between visiting National Security Advisor Ajit K Doval and top American leadership, including his counterpart Jake Sullivan.

Why can't we just make our own drones? Too expensive. It's not like we're buying stealth bombers.

And sell drones to other countries at half the price because of our low labour costs. Then we can sell the technology also at higher prices. What do you say?

@@anik5579 who told you India is buying. All false news. No order given for such thing. It will be big news. And investing in drones is good but we have seen Tejas development. But this government is seriously handling our scientists by encouragement and finances. Hope scientists too show something worthwhile. Tejas took 30 plus years for development and Rs 30000 crores. Don't know what happened there?

@@sashasasha1838 It appears like I am speaking with a jobless lad. I'll ask again out of curiosity: what are the errors you found? If you have any insight, I'd appreciate it. 😊 Infact, there were numerous faults in your most recent comment🤭, but I chose not to look down upon you since vocabs aren't that crucial in a defence blog, and not relevant either. Anyways, please let me know what errors you found in my english😅

@@Bootymoneycreditsqaud they are too expensive. India will probably invest money for making some indigenous ones with lesser teeth. Even then it won't cost 2000 million USD
