India never had any border with China. It will always be Tibet. Please correct the map. Edit: Many uneducated people are saying that India was a British creation. It is misinformation. India was ruled by powerful emperors before the British conquest. Modern day Indians are united by very liberal constitution, spirituality, temples, old languages like Sanskrit, Tamil, popular language like Hindi, Urdu & art and culture etc. Even Sikkim joined India. Bhutan doesn't recognise China. India never wanted to be a factory like China for the west. Indian Buddhism and Hinduism had soo much cultural influence on China and ASEAN. British period was a small part of India's history.

The dalai lama would like to talk to you and set you straight. The dalai lama said that Tibet is part of China, he stated in 2008 that he wishes only for Tibetan autonomy (which it is), and not separation from China. It is even more ridiculous. All of what CCP claims but also all of Mongolia as well. The nine dash line claim in the South China Sea was originally created by the Nationalists. There is a university in central Taiwan (National Chung Hsing University) where there is a lake on campus shaped like China with all of these territorial claims.

Frankly, it's complicated, because the ROC constitution now distinguishes its historic (and largely meaningless) claims from its actual jurisdiction, the so-called "Free Area" encompassing Taiwan proper and outlying islands (Penghu, Matsu, Kinmen, etc.). In reality, no one in Taiwan wants to assert most of these additional claims, yet Taiwanese governments can't exactly alter these ridiculous claims because that would put us in danger of Chinese retaliation. So, thank the CCP for these ridiculous holdovers from Taiwan's one-party past.

Aksai chin is not part of Kashmir. It is part of Ladakh. Kashmir is small region comprising of 10 districts in India and 10 district in Pakistan ( Pak version). Ladakh through out its history had been always a separate entity. The people are culturally, religiously as well ethnically different from Kashmir.

@@asha8443 As per India(1947 time) only 1 district Muzaffarabad and 1district Mirpur in Jammu existed. While pakistan after 1950 created 5 districts in kashmir and 5 district in jammu bringing total to 10. If you check Jammu & kashmir legislative assembly 24 seats are reserved for so called azad kashmir in that 12 are for Muzaffarabad and 12 are for mirpur.

CCP expanded and invaded Tibet, that’s when this thing changed. I think India started Indo China brothers campaign before China started expanded its Tibet area. Unfortunately CCP won’t stop unless neighbors become strong. India might be the worst enemy though but CCP has its way. it has long been a province of china albeit neglected during its time of weakness called hundred years of humiliation, the british invaded Tibet and took it for themselves then when they left they convinced the Tibetans to declare independence. It was only in 1954 when china had the strength and money to take Tibet back and annex it. You do know that nations have the right to protect itself from sedition? The US had the civil war to take back the southern states that sceeded from the union.

Arunachal pradesh is NOT a disputed area but an official state of the Union of India since 20th Feb, 1987 through the 55th constitutional amendment in alignment with the national policy of granting tribal regions distinct state identities. The Chinese just have a habit of "Capturing" land since it slipped into communism in 1949.

DW has shown an incorrect map of India. Would it show an incorrect map of Germany? Why is the China map not shown correctly. Galwan was not 20 Indians and 4 Chinese. The stats on the Chinese side is all wrong.

What point for a nation 50 percent of its population are starving keep "forward" fighting in the border ? Wouldn't it be better to save that money and energy to lift that abject poverty? Wouldn't it be a good idea to let the starved population be liberated by other countries? As an European I might say this: China and India two very important emerging Nations in Asia... Both members of BRICS... First 2 most populated nations( India is #1) Old history too..... Are they having differences !? Of course the have... However I also think both of them are wise enough to manage all these in a peaceful way... Just as France and Deutschland did... RIGHT!?

if you watch news outlets in both countries you will see Chinese media never portait any sorts of hatred against indian people or govt, and we appreciate their wisdom of not taking sides for the ukraine war, i personally admire the FM of india, very wise guy, his speech against those western polititians actually went viral in Chinese tiktok. But as a Chinese, if you go check out Indian media like Wion and Firstpost, spreading hatred against China is happening in DAILY basis, thats why indian people on youtube are presenting so much hatred against chinese people, for us its like "do i know you? why do you hate me for crying out loud"

Peace is impossible with the Chinese. They don't see conflict like we do. They think that countries will always have conflicts, but must keep trade and conflict different. And violence is not the last option for them, rather they go for combined approach of diplomatic moves with military conflicts. If you try to be friends with them, you'll quickly find that your children are holding a red flag and your home is now in Chinese territory. It's simple game theory.
