Those were the days when if opponent scores 250+ Indian Batsmen except Sachin would all play net practice for themselves. Those were the days when even world cup matches were fixed and racist and biased umpires used to officiate games. Glad that those days are over.

@@arnabghosh5814 so i would say that was the better era bcz if a batsman was giving it to a bowler you know he's special nowdays the scores of 330 340 in one days have become common as bowling is so shit but back then is u reached 270 280 you would have played some sensational cricket anyways my point is that excitement of batsmen hitting sixes to bowlers is now very low.

those days were the worst days of ind cricket, ind will mostly lose matches in foreign soil. the emotions you get watching those matches is dejection.

You have to live in the present. We do everything through mobile phone today . Likewise Cricket is also changed. You have to accept the reality & live with existence.. If Pakistan produced another Imran Khan, Waseem Akram, Soiab Akthar after introducing IPL, T20 batters would have hit them at their will & made them average Bowlers. move ahead & don't live in the past

Perhaps Pakistan had the strongest team that time. The Opening than the strongest middle order is something Pakistan lacked for so long. Bowling was and still strongest edge of Pakistan. Thanks for the upload really miss those days.

Its approach and positive frame of mind. Indians approach was defensive and not changed till the arrival of virender sehwag. Sachin approach was same but full team moral was dependent on sachins presence on the field.. This is the same bowling unit which get bashing from Indians after 2000, especially in 2003 world cup

That scary pace , strength of young Shoaib & the way he was playing that was like all the Batsmen for him were like gully cricketing player's. He truly was an incredible speed bowling specimen.

Still remember those times when india lost so many one sided matches to pakistan from 97 to 2001.. Can't imagine india win without sachin in that era.. After that Ganguly took over in 2000, picked great talents and build great time. He taught indian team to fight, his legacy continued by Dhoni and now india became super power in Cricket world.Feel great i witnessed this transformation of our team.. Thumbs up Cricket fans for our team...

Dravid could hold for longer but there was no support on the opposite end. Anyway, Sunil Joshi and Nayan Mongia ended the match in a respectful manner. This was the phase when there was no Sachin, no win for India.

Tht was the time when cricket was actually Meant to be cricket.. Runs were hard to come by, Good enthusiasm, passion , Energy was all there, You actually felt like a rivalry match where two nations players really play for their countries, nowadays cricket is only Entertainment.. In 90's the Pakistanis were ahead of time..I wonder how the indian batsmen deals with such low strike rates,just similar as test cricket.. Now time changed, game changed and generation changed..

Seems like this statement didn't go well with dravid's fans as they think that rahul took the crt decision & hence they r abusing Sachin. Actually i 💗 Dravid mainly coz of his selfless nature & he is my most fav player next to msd. Dravid is just love 😍😍

Oh really ? So what about the WC wins , win in Toronto, Independence cup. Sharjah was the only place where Pak did dominate India always and Pak indeed was indeed a stronger team than India overall. Wc matters the most and Pak lost to India even when it was at its strongest.

1999. Indian cricket team was going through a bad patch. Maxfixing was rampant. Only after the culprits like Azar and Jadeja got cought and thrown out of the team and Ganguly took the command of the team, the Indian team changed totally. Young Players like Yuvi, Shehwag, Zahra, Kaif, Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Dhoni got included in the team with experience of Sachin, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Srinath the team became a formidable force. And now it has become a team which can beat Pakistan anytime anywhere in all the formats of the game. The journey of Indian cricket team was full of ups and downs but indian team was more focused on becoming numer One. And they did it by Defeating Pakistan in T20 WC Finals in 2007, Winning WC 2011, Champions trophy, World number one Test team for almost one decade and until now. I can proudly say that India can beat not just Pakistan but any other team anywhere anytime. Proud of Indian team and their spirit.
