Mouth watering....Kangri Dhaam.....So delicious.... Old famous preparing style by using traditional utensils and firewood. Every Himachalis feel very proud eating on Patal (made by fresh forest big leaves), it is a great honour with traditional value for every invitee/guest. Keep it up.

भाई गढ़ढा ni बोलदे teeenn बोलदेड़े..... बड़ी स्वाद हिमाचली कांगड़ी धाम ❤ बहुत सुंदर वर्णन किया..... वैसे शाही पनीर धाम का हिस्सा नही है.... मदरेरे, रायता, खट्टा, माह डाल, सारा स्वाद वाह, पंगत पैंठ बैठे ते है एक साथ खायेंगे एक साथ उठेंगे.... लास्ट मे मीठा भात ❤

पहले 1970,80 में हिमाचली धाम में माह की दाल, चने की दाल, चने का खट्टा, मधरा और बदाणा का मिठा ही बनाते थे । यह पाँच आईटम होती भी बहुत स्वादिष्ट थी । आजकल की धाम में वह बात नहीं रही । प्याज़ टमाटर का प्रचलन भी शुरू हो गया है । जिस कारण taste में फ़र्क़ पड़ गया है ।

It’s indeed a regional delicacy… but one thing I wanna point out here that bottis are cooking with their shoes on… kinda offsetting… I have seen bottis with proper dhotis and barefooted…
