I went to Shade this summer to attend one of the last traditional weddings in Zanskar to use horses for transportation.
I was also an homing of sorts for me. Going back to the village and the people that I love so much.

I don't know why, but i suddenly got reminded of old western movies. A stranger from outside suddenly comes to a village in the middle of nowhere, helps the villagers, takes part in their daily lives for a few days and leaves with a heavy heart. No shooting criminals though...

Ohooo. My village. I was there when you are shooting all this. I feel lucky to get an opportunity to represent the rich culture of our valley to the outer hustle and bustle world, via your video. There you said you will upload the video after 2 mounth and we are eagerly waiting for this... Thanks you for shooting...,. 😍🥰... Being away from home, video made my day....

Hi Saravana, Beautiful beautiful video again. We have an immense amount of admiration for the work you do. It requires a truck load of physical strength and even greater mental strength. You have stuck to your style of filmmaking for the longest time without getting affected by all the fast paced, highly retention driven vlogs that are out there. For the longest time we have been learning the art of travel filmmaking by watching the likes of You and Ronne & barty. We feel immensely proud that Indians are pushing the bar for independent travel filmmaking to the next level. More power to you. Love from Bangalore. 🙂🙂

Hello Saravana, Your videography, storytelling and the calmness in your voice is so out of this world. Your passion and the love for Ladakh is also commendable. Through you, we have seen and understood the life and parcels of that place and its people. So, Thank You. I also understand that you truely love that place, and growing your channel may not be on your top priority (and rightly so). While we enjoy Ladakh and nearby place through you, we also need you, your story telling and your charming videography covering other (mountaineous) remote regions/corners of India. Say, north eastern belt, remote corners of Uttarakhand and Himachal, and your our state. I'm sure that there are a whole lot of people out there who would be really interested in seeing other remote places and its people via the unique prospective that your bring in your videos/commentary/documentary. While you may not care so much about the growth of your channel, but I see this as a win for us, your viewers. We get to see and understand the other places as well. Just being greedy here, as there is hardly anyone (amonst 1000s of vloggers) like you when it comes providing quality content. Thank you nonetheless. - Mudit (New Delhi)

Now I will call this a one piece of vlog which is hard to find these days. People are blogging by shooting their own faces and their presence all time with very few view of outside their faces. We can't even enjoy vlog because of their faces whole time in video. Your vlog is something that I don't want to get finish that fast. It is very interesting and very nicely blogged by capturing all different things, different people and views also without your presence of face there but presence of value in it. Very nice👌🙏

This made me a bit more home sick now. Kudos to you for documenting and bringing foreground the Ladakhi cultural nuances which are still practicing in its raw form in remote village, that is unaffected by the influence of modernity, the result of which one can see in other parts or relatively more developed parts of Ladakh loosing its cultural essence gradually to modernity. Being myself a Ladakhi it struck me into an awe. The gesture of gifting a drum was so sweet, you made the whole village happy, this also made me realize how limited was our needs back in time and yet we were cheerful under those hardship conditions. you are doing wonder in very simple manner and it stimulate me also to do better and continue in motion😁. regards

During marriage we don't go to directly marriage event but we go to temple or some far from event, after they come with classic music to take us to marriage place. Every thing is same process.
