I think our national anthem is the only one that includes the whole of Africa in it's prayers Fun info: I think the whole country can sing it in all the languages but when it gets to Afrikaans older people sing louder and you can hardly hear younger people singing it and the opposite when the English part comes😂😂

In Tanzania we use the same song as our national anthem Fun fact: Tho composed in South Africa, We (Tanzanians) were the first one to adopt it as a national anthem in 1961😅

It's actually just because of the language change. English is much higher pitched than Afrikaans.😂😂

This song was banned in south africa during apartheid years because it was a freedom struggle song for black south Africans

Let u live and strive for freedom from within! In 1976 lot of kids were killed whilst fighting the apartheid government. Eventually 1994, freedom was delivered to us by our late former President Nelson Mandela. However, our leaders r still bound, by greed, fear, lust for power, flesh and pride of this world! So we still need to be free from ourselves! "Let us live and strive for *SELFLESSNESS* should our last line be" God is helping me everyday that for His glory, "i die daily".
