The transition between each tadkas end and the next tadkas start is really smooth. One moment the frying pan is filled with the previous daal and the next moment it is spick and span and ready for the next one!

Good ideas.healthy version is one tsp of unsalted butter ....one tablespoon of oil of your cooking oil. Any if the salt to these dishes should be the last addition. Curry powder to be substituted with Garam mAsala and Chath mAsala. Try these !

Usually we does not add tomato,jeera,tamerind,jaggery to dhal curry. And also we does not over boil it. but love to try it out. I am from 🇱🇰 Sri-lanka 😍

Nice varieties of dal tadka yummmmy😋😋 I have got one more variety of dal tadka... Add ghee... 1/2 chopped onion... cook until golden brown... add 4-5 cloves, 2-3 green cardamom pods slightly broken and 1 black cardamom, add few curry leaves and 1/2 tsp of hing... give the tadka to the daal shown in the video... done...

They look good and I feel that they would probably taste good too. But the problems with most of these professional chefs are that they would never show certain things in proper details such how long the onion and other masalas are to be fried, the real time for cooking the veggies, the actual time for besting the masala, the accurate heat mark etc. Either they do it intentionally so that people like us can't actually cook like them or they consider whosoever is watching their channel is a pro at culinary arts. This is a just a simple recipe of dal tadka, but there might be novices too who don't really know the basics but still want to try. Chefs are not for those people because they hardly explain the fundamental still finer nuances of cooking. Some more things amuse me a lot. Can't salt and other ingredients be added normally?! Why do chefs add salt from up above the sky?! Does it add more flavor to the dish?! Or is it simply gimmick and some added stunts while cooking?!
