How about we make small size nuclear powered attack submarines called wolf class which can carry 4 torpedoes that can move fast and and cost efficient in huge numbers. It will be great shock to PLAN Navy, these submarines can hunt Chinese submarines in pack. Plus we will keep building our bigger SSNs also. We have to think outside of the box.

Kalyani should look to secure their formidable production capacity against any unforeseen threats. Long range UAVs are being operated by both Ukrainians and Russians to devastating effect. Already, attacks on Russian refineries has been responsible for drop in production of gasoline and diesel. India's private sector industries generally work on very low redundancy to keep costs down, but ignoring emergent risks might cause crippling losses. It is time for honest assessments while factoring in redundancy in manufacturing, operations and maintenance.

Yes the stryker with DRDO will be a game changer. Also now especially DRDO HAL ADA should double the land and recruit personnel as now india is challenged by 3 manufacturers namely China Pakistan and Turkey to meet the unending demand for weapons internally and for export. Hats up for kalyani for trying to make 30 howitzer in a month. The same is expected from OFB for Dhanush. Please try. Also Turkey especially is passed off due to Armenia and Greece and India will see a lot of loitering of Turkey with Maldives and Bangladesh and could be Malaysia. Now Maldives and Bangladesh although wants money from india but will remain silent enemies. Anytime Turkey can make them do anything. So now India is not challenged by East and West sides but from whole of North to South and whole of East to West. India has to double its inventory at a very rapid pace in which PUBLIC AND PRIVATE sectors have to play a very vital and Speedy role. Now a 3 front war is expected. Maldives sri lanka Bangladesh will be their Stations and Godowns for Arma and ammunition. Full control of Andaman and nicobar islands with army personnel should be there. Please see strategically with USA and Russia. Now not 42 squadrons but 55 squadrons needed minimum. For HAL CSL and Mazagon L&T Tatas Godrej ISRO Kalyani heads up and do come together to make new armaments and in a very short period of time. We are all one facing challenges from whole world to be right. Tit for tat policy with very few friends are there for India. Good luck.

I don't see the need for the US made Stryker (these are made in Canada as well, I've been to the plant in London Ontario). The IA could focus on existing Indian made platforms to meet their needs. Why complicate the supply chain, training, etc? The inability to standardize on a single platform for a combat role blows my mind. The ATAGS should have been ordered in bulk years ago.

Why we need stryker. When will the Indian army change its attitude and when will their liking for the imported weapons vanish. Use the amount invested into stryker to invrease the production capacity of Kestrel and satisfy the entire demand for infabtry vehicles with the help of Kestrel.

And stryker lacks this flexibility.

Predator drones are just hopeless. Even the houthis are able to shoot down these millions of dollars worth drone with cheap iranian short range missiles that cost a few thousand dollars to make. The deal is only to bring some influence is what I feel like. High time to create our own drones while even countries like Iran that are subjected to such high sanctions are able to create many different varieties of drones which is a shame for our indigenous capability
