What there doing at Godrej Aero is an amazing mile stone. it now means India are going to be one of the few countries to be able to make 100% Jet Engine from scratch these high temperature alloys for the fans is the only jigsaw left in the puzzle for India .This could mean AMCA has its engine of the future

@@Vartik-tq1du It doesn't matter who makes the engine that is the easy part ,its making the alloy for the fins because they have to survive extreme temperatures and extreme stresses at mach 2.5.or 3 India have already made the engine they just need to add the alloys and make it mach 3

P75I without vertical launch tubes is very bad , as Pakistani acquisition of chinese submarine with more capabilities. India has to focus more on this .

Godrej aerospace has done wonders in engine development. Soon we will have our own engine with required power. Also Turkey has offered its KAAN to Malaysia. Bangladesh is asking for Bayrakhtar drones from Turkey. And all the middle east countries will ask for KAAN. So to develop our own engine our own aircraft is not an option but a NECESSITY. Also in Typhoon aircraft UKs response is a lukewarm. Earlier it was saying we will give 30% cheaper than Rafales with 100% made in India. Where are they now? How much stake? Nothing and Nowhere. So to make an aircraft is solely by Indias HAL GODREJ KALYANI TATAS DRDO ADA L&T and other companies is a NECESSITY now Kudos to all. For transfer of technology only Russia is there on which HALs employees already has experience by making su30mki from scratch. So to make su35 HAL already understands its lineage. Whatever Russia is saying or giving offers India has to be very particular about its unblocked delivery on all circumstances by Russia. So please be double sure and particular in all aspects. Finally we will feel proud when our own engines will be in our own aircrafts so we don't have to depend on others and no conditions no ifs and buts just Tejas. With the growing demand and danger from all aspects India has to develop in all its areas, in all wings in all directions with different options with different approach from all sectors. And we are 100% sure of Indias AATMANIRBHAR BHARAT. Also HAL has and should develop its facility as double as the demand of internally will be very high with no imports. Kudos and keep it up for all the hard work you guys are doing.

For HLFT-42 we must consider RD-33MK engines which are license produced by HAL engine division....over dependence on GE must be avoided & using RD-33s will allow us to roll our product on time

India should not press Tejas for marketing in international market until Mark 2 variant is launched along with indigenous engine. Most of the prospective buyers are shying away from Tejas because of American engine and some western technology fearing it may affect their stock in the event of embargo.

It is not engine as it has one of the most reliable engine. The reason is unknown life time cost and operational history. It is also not cheap
