wait so for some people they pick up the lunches from their houses and take it to them at work??? Why dont they just take it with them when they leave in the morning?? This makes no sense lol

Pretty simple dude. They want it fresh, and their family members ( wife, mom, sister etc. ) cant make it by the time they leave. Come over to India once brother, you will find lots of such things which has no logic, but at the end you also will start liking many of these.
