Indian inscriptions are the most authentic source of information about the chronology & genealogy of various dynasties, places and historical events etc. Unfortunately, the Epigraphists of the colonial era promoted the methodology of research based on selective acceptance and selective rejection which had not only created numerous fallacies in Indian historical narrative but also nurtured biases about the authenticity of Indic epigraphic sources. The latest epigraphical research based on the traditional chronology firmly establishes the authenticity of all Indian inscriptions.
