The Indian Fast Bowling Center (IFBC) is currently among the only four fast bowling centres in the world- 2 in England, 1 in Australia and 1 in Nagaland. It was set up last year in August, 2021 at Indisen. Waitnungsang Imsong, head coach of IFBC, is an International Cricket Council (ICC) Level-1 certified coach. He is also the first from Nagaland to achieve it. In the past, he had a short stint as manager for Nagaland’s women team that went to Pondicherry. Wati has undergone a 7-day bowling camp at Omtex Cricket Institute, Mumbai, India’s biggest sport brand and cricket institute as well.
IFBC currently trains promising cricketers from different states across India such as Mumbai/Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Arunachal,Uttar Pradesh and from Nagaland.
