Urdu is such a beautiful language and there’s no poetry without it even in Bollywood film industry. If it weren’t for the many great Urdu poets in Hindi cinema it wouldn’t have achieved the same level of box office success what it has with the Urdu poetry and language in it.

In urdu poetry actually to make it more romantic or catchy and for better eloquent, poets use some heavy words from Farsi or Hindi but these are also the part of Urdu but we not use these words usually in normal chat and conversation. But yes in poetry Urdu poets use these a lot.

From the very beginning Bollywood has been depending on Urdu for their film songs and dialogue and calling them Hindi songs. Now a Pakistani OST has used a couple of Hindi words and you noticed.

Urdu and Hindi are not the same languages period And Urdu is not an indian language its a lashkari language spoken by many people who travelled from persia and othe regions its not even an original language its a mixture of persian arabic latin hindi and other languages

Actually jeevan, Amar etc were frequently used words in Urdu poetry, mostly before partition Urdu had great influx of Sanskrit words but afterwards it's popularity in India declined, now in India Hindi is made more Sanskritized while in Pakistan Urdu is made more persianized which makes their diversion more evident. The fact is that Hindi/ Urdu language in practical was more intelligible to each other before we were one nation, their was no use of complicated words in both but from last 2, 3 decades some complicated words are forced on us. So unfortunate...

Urdu and Hindi both have their own beauty, even when our nations are separated but the similarities between Urdu and Hindi still binds us. We can enjoy music, dramas, movies from both sides equally. While watching the Pakistani dramas, we can see the similarities in behaviour and mentality of Indians and Pakistanis. We are so much similar 😍😍

@@PranjaliSrivastava A bit of language history will help this debate. 😀🙏 Hindi language is based on post 1940s traditions of India especially during the republic of India that was formed in 1947. Urdu language is post 1840s traditions, thanks to the encouragement of British. There were 4 schools of thought of Urdu based on the cities of Lahore, Delhi, Lukhnow, and Hyderabad. Urdu meaning “army” was based on Punjabi, Delhi/UP, and Hyderabad.

The Urdu language is closely related to Hindi. They share the same Indo-Aryan base, are similar in phonology and grammar, and are mutually intelligible. However, they are from different sources: Urdu is from Arabic and Persian, and Hindi is from Sanskrit.

Mam hindi is not a language,...it was created to revive sunsikrat (by mixing sunsikkrat in urdu) which was forgotten..
