@Krishna ... okay let me say 3 things. 1 - it's "murree" , the "u" sounds like as in "murder" : ) similarly it's "murree, not mooray : )" 2 - the lift thingy in the end is called "chair lift" and these usually carry passengers from bottom of a hill to the top of it. 3 - Plz plz react on a video regarding Murree... it's called (MURREE MAI SNOWFALL - HERANDHEM) "HerandHem" are two Pakistani sister vloggers, you will definitely love their content, do react on their murree and skardu vlogs too plz. thanks and love you both!

Lahore has a Mall Road too ...most busy and beautiful road here The hotel is Movenpic and the iconic Post office Murree has an Expressway too and in less then 40 min from Islamabad you are in Murree In fact the surrounding hill stations like Bhurban and Nathiagali are much better .... because of easy access it's too crowded Now lots of people like to go to Naran/Kaghan and further on to Hunza Murree has chair lift but for entertainment purposes I have been to Shimla also Both are similar....its Mar ree the way its pronunciation

Almost everyone has visited Maree because it is the first and nearest tourist destination after that the fabulous northern areas came to begin. So the people who have not enough time or budget for northern areas they just plan to visit Maree.

Construction of the town was started in 1851 on the hill of Murree as a sanatorium for British troops. The permanent town of Murree was constructed in 1853 and the church was consecrated shortly thereafter. One main road was established, commonly referred to even in modern times, as the mall. Murree was the summer headquarters of the colonial Punjab Government until 1876 when it was moved to Shimla. In 1864, Shimla was declared as the summer capital of British India, succeeding Murree, northeast of Rawalpindi.

It is my home town and thx for showing murree in your reaction videos. There is indeed lot of resemblances between Shimla and murree. Btw just a quick correction the chairlifts has been installed just for the entertainment purpose between one hill to another rather than for any transportation reason.

It is spelled as Murree. but Pronounced as "MA-RR-EEE". Like Hurry. Bury. And it is also called "Malika-e-kohsaar", meaning Queen of hills. And I dont think any Pakistani wont have visited this place. Everybody must have seen this place. Its like a tourist hub. Plus point is that it is literally close to Islamabad, like 1 hour drive from Islamabad somehow. and Islamabad, as you guys know, has all sorts of beautiful places where everybody can have a fun vacation. So, they all come to Islamabad and then would obviously visit Murree as well. Sonay pay suhagaa wali baat hai bs janab. P.s: another plus point is that there are many more tourism places close to murree. Such as Ayubia, Galyat-Nathia Gali, etc. You should see those places as well. Ye ek poora "silsela hai paharhon" (range of mountains) ka.

We used to go there in summer vacation from multan. It’s a long way from multan to murree but worth spending summer holidays on these hill stations like murree, Nathiagali ayobia etc
