V interesting and summarised beautifully just to add a little bit more to it the beauty of a women is only for their husbands . Therefore the hijab and abayas are supposed to be in pastel colours so that a women’s beauty should not be attracted to na mahram . I think this explains better . Alhamdolillah

I also want to add an important point.. when we talk about gender inequality, this is not something only women feel. men feel that if a women doesnt dresses modestly she has more chances of being hired, get more views on social media. lets take a moment and say if women covers up in burka and man goes on an interview... now the interview will be all about your qualification and skillset. Burka gives a woman to actually be treated equally but western women especially who dont have any skill set they will prefer to have OF, and they thnk a women is a queen when naked but its actually the opposite. (the typing area is less but i hope i am able to convey) The burka is a sign of empowerment and confidence.

Till a few years ago very few Muslim women in Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt, Khazakustan, Uzbekistan, Turkistan, Etcetera used to wear the Hijab. Aftet 1979 take of Iran by Khomeni hijab is being more and more Muslim women. Islamic countries are moving in the wrong direction towards fundamentalist. It is a retrograde and unfortunate step.
