The issue with that is Indian ring necks are domesticated birds. It could be invasive, and it could destroy an entire ecosystem if it lives past 3 days in the wild. They don’t know how to survive in most places either because they’re domesticated. Domestic birds do not survive in the wild and if you set one loose you should be arrested for animal abuse. It is extremely abusive to take any domesticated animal and just set it loose to fend for itself. Before you try to defend your opinion, in New Zealand pet set loose their ferrets and their cats, and now because people did that a lot of the native species to New Zealand are going extinct. An example of a species going extinct in New Zealand would be Kiwis.

When i filmed this he was only 1 1/2 years old .. 6 months later the black and rose ring grew in with his molt

You need to just be there and be seen but not too close. He or she will come out of her fear. As long as there is plenty of food, water, and safety and realises that he/she is in no immediate danger then he/she will eventually come out it.
