A former Indian Army officer working with the United Nations was killed in Gaza as the Israel-Hamas war continues to rage on. The incident took place when the vehicle he was travelling in came under attack in strife-torn Rafah. The deceased retired Indian army officer was identified as Colonel Waibhav Anil Kale. The identity of Kale was revealed by UN Secretary-General Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq issuing a statement.
