Thanks for uploading the review Michael! I'm aware of the issues you mentioned in the instructions and I'm working on a fix. I'll be uploading the v2.2 instructions soon which will also improve a couple of parts on the tank, mainly related to color variations, exterior details and making the periscope hatch sturdier. Don't worry, you won't have to take the whole tank apart this time, but these 2-3 tiny details will make it even better (this will be the final version, I promise 😂, I just want a clean design to be as accurate as possible to the real tank and I'm very very close) I hope you give this one a try, stay tuned for news!

Hi @1995tms, I am waiting for version 2.2. Then I will gladly buy your instructions. Can you please tell me when approximately it will be released? Please consider also exchanging very expensive parts with different color - as for example "Technic, Gear 24 Tooth with 1 Axle Hole". Thanks
@1995Tms11 ай бұрын
@@jirihracek I hope to release them in the middle of august. Regarding the technic part, you can buy it in whatever color you want (dark bluish gray is the cheapest) i put light bluish gray because it looks better in my opinion, but feel free to choose your color! And this applies to all pieces

This, the Submarine from Raiders and the Grail Temple were the 3 sets I always wished they made for this line. Its honestly surreal to see it in real life.

If you want the sub, I can highly recomend ya the set 628011 VIIC U-522 from panlos ( altough not an indy line but it is a modell from a german type VIIc submarine as used in the movie in minifig scale)

Cobi makes the Das Boot u-boat that was used in Raiders. Cobi 4847 U-Boot U-96 Type VIIC. It isnt mini fig scale but its large.

Now we gotta see a Lego set of the Kali human sacrifice chamber from Temple of Doom, complete with a hole in the floor and a guy strapped to that metal thing and mini figure of Mola Ram with a heart on fire in his hand. Might be a tad gruesome and macabre for a family-friendly company like Lego. 🤔

I loved the use of the indy clips in this video, absolutely hilarious when combined with the frustration! I’m an AFOL myself and i can tell you now that piecing together sets using bricklink never gets easier 😂😅

Excellent video as always Michael. I am 53 years old. It is so amazing how LEGOs have evolved over time. When I was 8yo, a year after I saw STAR WARS, I tried to make an X-Wing out of LEGOs, and as you can imagine, it looked pretty pathetic and because LEGO pieces only attached in one direction at the time, the sad excuse for the lower s-foils fell off way too easily.😄 Keep up the Awesome Work! GOD Bless You, Melinda and all of the guys!

Yeah, Lego bricks and gunpla assembling was fun for me back then since I was a kid. Whenever I completed the set or figure the feeling of satistaction is so heavenly. Now, my son enjoys building his Lego bricks and watching him complete the set is also gratifying.

I genuinely loved this video. Adam Savage said once that any story can be interesting if it happens to someone who is interested in it. The adventure of not getting all the lego parts needed for a custom moc may seem mundane or silly, but the care you had for it plus the sentimental and relatable story at the end tied everything together into a story I got invested in. Thank you for this awesome video, I'm excited to watch more!

My son and I watched your video, really enjoyed it. I can 100% understand the drive to get the tank right. Besides action figures, we both collect/build/mod Lego sets. It's a pain in the ass to gather the pieces, but the end result is very much worth it. The Lego Piece Gring is real! Also, my kiddo wants to do this tank build, and I told him he'll need to get a job. I deal mainly with castle sets, and he already maxed out our tan and sand color pieces with Indy set ups.

Really good video, Lego MOC's are indeed a very useful way to get models of vehicles and characters that never have gotten a good toy. I had to substitute my own Daleks out of Lego in lieu of Character options Daleks not being available in my area and being expensive to import. I was able to build The Supreme, Imperial, Special weapons and a Emperor Dalek from evil of the daleks. Also I was able to engineer a pretty convincing mechanoid as well

my husband told me he remembers watching Last Crusade in 1989 Honolulu drive-in theater. My husband still has the hat his father brought him from the BX on Hickam AFB. I kind of look at my husband as an Indiana Jones type gentleman. 10 years in the South African Defense force always adventures in the Jemez springs in northern New Mexico with me and our children and working in African and Asian History at the university for a short while before he formed a private security company. I guess it can be said my husband was influenced by both his father also ex-military and Indiana Jones. My husband also speaks Japanese fluently Swazi,Dutck Afrikaan and German. Everytime you all do Gi joe,Action Force and Indiana Jones toys and retrospectives my husband’s eyes light up and a nostalgic grin opens on his face. Thank you everyone at Retroblasting you make me and my family happy everytime you post a new video. Thank you for doing what you do!

On one hand I can understand why Lego opted not to make this tank as it would go against their anti-military rule, but then again, the Flying Wing and the vehicles from Crystal Skull say otherwise. Even in this 2023 wave I would've liked to see that tank over a redo of the plane. Maybe as a D2C set? Having a piece of that screen used stunt tank tread though, that's priceless

I don’t know if you know this but bricklink isn’t the only platform to use. lego also sells they’re own pieces on their page, it’s called “pick a brick” it can bit more expensive that bricklink but they have a bigger variety of pieces and if your order is over 35 dollars shipping is free. So maybe in future you can use that, as someone who bricklinks a lot, I’m starting to use pick a brick as often as I can for harder to find bricks
