This is worse than Bud Light. Actively cancelling a guy they once supported for wanting kids to be kids and not be groomed by sexless weirdos operating on an agenda of evil? Basically sending people to harrass said person? They've basically said with this they love pedos, groomers and perverts and will do anything to protect them including firing a loyal customer/partner that is also online on Twitch. I'm not saying the Mulvany stuff is good, it's bad. But it's not "protecting child diddlers" bad. You gotta be on a whole new level for that to be part of a policy. Maybe we should have levels of these things. Bud Light level for the trans crap and CoD for the diddlers crap.

John Campia is doing just that because he's not a smart man. And he knows that. For perspective, him and Az (HeelvsBabyface) have a similar subscriber count. Az gets way more engagement, views and subscribers on all his videos while Campia has remained stagnant for the past two years. And Campia is bitter about it because him and Kevin Smith were the pioneers for KZfaq film punditry/reviews. While the people he inspired like Midnight's Edge, Nerdrotic, Geek+Gamers and EFAP continue to grow, he's still a D-level KZfaqr who can barely pull in an audience because he's not good at his job.

I agree with both Jeremy and Az on the whole CoD fiasco. I'm hoping that Jeremy is right that a boycott is very much possible considering this news is making the rounds on every web show out there. And after Bud Light threw blood in the water by demonstrating that the best way to boycott is through inaction. So all we have to do is buy a different game. It's not like there's a shortage of first-person shooters out there. But Az is right because by all means, Diablo Immortal should have been the last straw for a lot of people after all the allegations, the mismanagement of their IPs and respective communities, pandering to the authoritarian CCP, and Bobby Kodick, the most unlikable CEO ever (and he's got stiff competition). But every single gamer that said they would never buy another Activision-Blizzard game all came crawling back with Diablo 4 because they are all bark with no conviction. Hell our boy Razorfist is doing a stream on this game the night this came out. What's going to make or break CoD is ultimately gonna depend the gamers, the foot-soldiers who have been at ground zero since GamerGate kicked off the Culture War.

I play Halo anyway. Yes, Infinite has woke shit in the inventory for customizing your character but its not as dire as CoD, and as always, the weapon balance in Halo is better by default because CoD has too many bullshit guns. Way more fun.

Quick note! 😊 Iger was not completely above board on the earnings call or genuinely Disney was convinced it was only gonna be 9 billion dollars for Hulu in January. It’s actually probably gonna be worse. Comcast actually put out the word in a Deadline article I think it was saying basically, oh yeah you thought we got Hulu for 27 billion dollars? Nope, we paid 70 billion dollars on 2021. Thus, Disney is looking to have to pay anywhere from 9-30 billion dollars. They are in arbitration with Comcast right now to settle on a value. Basically, Disney is even more screwed than anyone ever realized. It’s gonna get wild.

It's possible. It has the past movie holding it down, and it's connection to Lucasfilm and it's past duds and shit products. Plus Pheobe is in charge and KK is still running the show. No George and no Spielberg to save this mess, and the rumours Spielberg left the project on disgust adds to this (though I think he was fired, but I could be wrong). Plus the early release for critics screwing it and the trailers not looking good add as well. It is tough though, franchise wise it might succeed but we've seen it go wrong with others. It's difficult to say really. Honestly I hope it fails, I want Disney to burn, it's too corrupted with identity politics and it's image is practically been destroyed that even families call it evil.

Deadline has got to be intentionally setting Indiana Jones expectations low so they can be beat. I figured it would flop, but $60M opening seems absurdly low. I would have figured $80-100M with bad legs.

I know it sucks for him, but im glad this whole thing with Call of Duty happened. The idea that someone said "leave kids alone" and the company essentially said that goes against Pride and the alphabet group, is hipefully gonna open a lot of eyes around the world. It's like the fuss over the parental rights in Florida - it banned teaching sexuality of any kind, yet obky the alphabet group seemed to have a problem with it? Im straight and have absolutely no problem with sexuality being banned from the curriculum.
