The fact that they 'Have to be recognized' after 70 yrs says a lot about how things were and how they are being turned around...We used to see big names from other states being nominated to Rajya Sabha, so they could retain the ministry or Prime Ministers chair..🤔🤔

At the time of independence we had 10-15% literacy, but 100% wisdom in our people, which strengthened our democracy, then slowly social & political reforms within societies started happening. Such things take time. Some things will take some more time.

There is millions of rape cases happening in across India so why only Bilkis Bano important, recently in Dumka Jharkhand one Hindu girl killed by Muslims. Happy to see her taking pride in carrying her culture, our culture. We all, while progressing towards a prosperous future, must keep our culture alive and thriving. Our dresses, languages, cuisines, dialects, good traditions, humbleness must be preserved. Very traditional (not designer) dresses on occasions, use local dialects & languages in daily life, learn Hindi & English too. Keep our cuisines original. Keep our good traditions alive while modifying bad ones. This is how we preserve our identity while progressing. Also, women's representation and participation in every sector should be ensured and should increase. I'm Very proud of her.

Wow so beautiful!! I really hope that in my life time i have the honour of seeing all people of india adopting their traditional dresses (be it men or women) as daily wear ... from north to south, east to west you have such beauty and diversity in dresses and culture, its just astoundingly beautiful
