Hugely useful Bottomline NEVER give PIN or password to RECEIVE funds. Know details of the entity you are sending funds. Change your PIN or password straightaway if done by mistake.

Gpay is such. A bullshit app remotely payment nahi hona chahiye agar kisi ne access bhi kar lia ho , remote access ke port hi block hona chahiye.

लोगों को ये समझ आना चाहिए। कोई आपको पैसा भेजता है तब आपके युपीआय पिन जरूरत नही पडती। जब आप किसी को पैसे देते हो। तभी आपको युपीआय पिन कि जरूरत होती है।

Why only Google Pay ? This type of fraud takes place for all upi apps - PhonePe, PayTm, Amazon Pay etc etc

Best ways is not to use payment apps like these. Keep some cash in your pocket. Depending upon your mobile phone might take you in a jix when network problem or / and dying battery situation occur. Keep low amounts in the account that is going to be used for online payments ( eg debit card). Account that has higher amounts must be used offline. It may be seen hectic but far less hectic than a 'to do' after upi fraud.

Yes,this is what i always tell people..longer but safer route...keep less money in net banking account....never put all the eggs in net banking account basket.

@@hometypist1966No govt is imposing or going to impose. As far as security of money is concerned, you need to take different measures time to time. Cashless transactions are not bad but one has to manage it rightly to avoid any scam.

Appreciated your efforts usually we prefer cash transaction though we have to travel 10 km to pay the bills we withdraw cash then go to market and pay the bills or buy the goods . The problem Is only when you want to buy something online say any subscription. disclosing card information is again a big headache. In that sinario we are looking for digital payment but a reliable party .

Sabse badii baat yeh hai ki cyber police bhi kuchh nhi karti. Banks also don't recognise this as a fraud and settle it in a single mail. I too have been frauded similarly

It's a shame that someone has figured out the loopholes to cheat and the security is far from perfect. People are losing their hard earned money and the fraudster gets away with all this. We demand the app makers and the banks to make the security foolproof.

Hello ma'am Recently aisa hi mere papa ke saath hua Upi pin unke paas h aur Ek Application install kiya tha uss fraud ke kehne pr but voh app ko login nhi kiya and papa ne sare account ko freeze kr diye but voh jo Fraud person h usne na saare accounts ko link kr diya tha but accound ko Freeze kiya toh abhi tak paise gye nhi h.... But kya aisa possible h ki agr humne account ko unfreeze kiya after 10 days toh kya usne agr Money Request Kiya h toh kya voh jygi account se unfreeze krne pr? ma'am please rply do 🙏

Nothing happens when you report to police and cybercrime. They just brush off the case. For them 5000,10000is a small amount to investigate. Bank's also don't make any effort except make you run

Change your UPI PIN 1. Open Google Pay . 2. At the top right, tap your photo. 3. Tap Bank account. 4. Tap the bank account you want to edit. 5. Tap More. Change UPI PIN. 6. Create a new UPI PIN. 7. Enter the same UPI PIN again.

Gpay itself is a fraud their customer support can't revert the transaction once done even if it cleared after 2 days, so save your hard earned money and use old school methods
