I’m Indian but I’ve been living in Victoria basically my whole life, and I have a very heavy aussie accent so when I go to India people get confused cause I speak english there haha

Fair dinkum is a term from the goldrush days that links to Chinese miners. Dinkum, apparently, derives from a Chinese word pertaining to the weight of the gold. So fair dinkum is fairly assayed gold (not full of lead or whatever else might have been fraudulently mixed up with it).

(I'm Indian too) Chuck a sickie- Get a life Piece of piss- Jerk Carry on like a pork chop- Hustle on and don't care what the world says Spit the dummy- Spill the beans Put a sock in it- Shut up (yay, I got that right!) On the turps- On field, active Shits me to tears- Annoying (ooh, another one right) Fair dinkum- Beautiful
