@mariuszfuchs2010 Why just to be tourists. The wife is Polish. They have every right to legalize permanent residence in Poland. Our country should absolutely avoid large emigration from a given country of hundreds of thousands or millions of people. We know from Polish history that problems with minorities always began back then, no matter what cultural background. Even Tatar Muslims, in small numbers, were able to assimilate very well in Poland, they did not bother anyone, and they themselves were loyal citizens for centuries. On the other side, we have Ukrainian Christians who, as large minority, have always caused wars and political turmoil (starting from the 17th century).

That sentence gave me chills! I couldn’t believe my ears - I paused and reminded to hear it again. How come they don’t know what Auschwitz is? Guy’s that was a German concentration camp that lots of people lost their life. Jews polish and so many other nations.

There are lodges for hikers in the Tatras. Due to the changeable climate hikers will be accommodated, even if it means sleeping on the floor. Lodz is a fascinating city with many similarities to Manchester in the UK. Zelazowa Wola is Chopin's birthplace. Czestochowa is a place of pilgrimage for Poles. Poland is a fascinating country that deserves exploration. One last point, that railway station shown in the Cracow segment is not in Cracow; it's actually the entrance to Auschwitz-Birkenau.
@majabe1337Ай бұрын
6:06 guy who made that vid, must have trolled the railway leads to current museum in Oswiecim, former concentration camp "Auschwitz Birkenau" (part of darkest history of 20th century) I must admit, at all what I love about the country, that people know how to behave, and they don't litter, except drunk people 😅

You are a nice couple and we Poles are very hospitable ❤ In Poland there is the largest, huge medieval castle in the world in the city of Malbork. He belonged to the bandit Teutonic Order. I'm surprised it hasn't been replaced

Personally, in my country I like the most places that respect Mother Earth and don`t want to completely cover it with concrete. Cities that preserve forests (where wild animals still live), take care of parks... For me, the most beautiful is the Białowieża/Białowieski National Park with a reserve for Bisons. You can see many animals there, even wolves. Poland has a lot to show, both visually and spiritually, because our area is rich in many stories based on the clash of many cultures from our continent. Everyone can find something for themselves here, the question is what are they looking for as a tourist. Do you want to see our version of modernity (see what we were able to create as a free nation in the two generations since liberation from Russian occupation) or do you want to learn about the history of another country (in the Archaeological Museum in Biskupin you can even see what the first settlements in Poland looked like and go back to the old times of young Poland). Or maybe you just want to try our cuisine (Silesian cuisine is the best ;)), we have many dishes based on various ingredients, due to our location and climate, many dishes are based on cabbage and potatoes, not to mention meat - we have dishes without their additions, although our pig meat products are delicious, especially sausages. Make yourself feel welcome, in our country we have something for every taste and need, we are like a big Amazon ;). You will be able to communicate in English with the young generation of Poles without any major problems, you just have to remember that we are like coconuts, our hard skin hides a tasty and juicy interior, we don`t open up that easily ;). Germany has caused us a huge trauma and we need help from foreigners to open up again and not see danger everywhere, like some paranoid people ;). I just ask for patience.

Owszem zgadzam się. Polska jest piękna i inna, jak wiele państw i jest tu wiele rzeczy do pokazania innym. Zachowaliśmy swoistą kulturę i tradycje niespotykane, gdzie indziej. Jesteśmy odpowiednio tolerancyjni i otwarci, a ta nasza pozrna skorupa wcale nie wynika z naszych doświadczeń wojennych, a raczej znajomości języków obcych wśód społeczeństwa, szczególnie starszych ludzi.
