The name "Oliver Anthony" is actually Chris's grandfather's name which he uses to honor his grandfather's memory. His grandfather actually was from the Appalachian Mountains and played Folk music himself.

The 350 was tough engine that almost never failed, if it did we could repair it in our garage. My uncle had a 454 Chevy (basically a bored out 350). That engine would warp the frame of the truck when I 'hit the gas'. I am telling you, the rear end of that truck would lift up like it was defying gravity. But we still loved girls better.
