The head of the forensics department at Sassoon Hospital in Pune, where the teen accused in the deadly crash involving a Porsche car was taken for a medical check-up, and another doctor from the hospital have been arrested for allegedly tampering with evidence, a senior police official told India Today on Monday.

becoz ppl know the true character of congress ... Ajit pawar NCP was historically always a part of Congress lead coalitions ... and congress led coalitions have tried & actually covered up so many such cases ... in this case only because they are in opposition & not a party to all this - their moral sense has awakened but in reality they are equally worse. The system should be freed from hands of politicians (Eg: Police, Hospitals etc.) only then this nexus between politicians with rich/powerful ppl will be damaged. Once a politician is found to be a party in anyway, they should be banned for life. Such harsh laws should come into effect. Only then the system will improve. Not every case is gonna get this much media coverage...

I am sure CCTV footage of the accused driving the car would be systematically erased, and a driver would take the responsibility. He will be bailed, and even if he is jailed later on, he will be let off due to good behaviour. The driver will, of course, agree to this because of money and threats.

This Pant woman seems to be living in her own world, there are zero traffic rules being followed in Mumbai, I live there. There is rampant jumping of red lights in broad day light and there is absolutely no police to catch these people even on major signals. Even late-night checking was nonexistent for 2 years, but they do it now because that is the best way to make money, people pay good amounts when they get caught drunk.

I’d love to have been a spoilt brat. Even one rupee was big money for me in my childhood. I had to save money from my first job to buy a hero honda. Back then there were no credit cards or EMI. Going to a pub was the stuff of dreams and legend. Back then we Indians were obedient slaves (nothing new) and social media was an unknown unknown. When ever a crime was committed a few suspects were rounded up and given a sound thrashing in the thana until someone confessed. No apologies were given to the other innocent suspects who had also been bashed up. How the police must be longing for the good old days.
