I did a project like this for pictures for my dinning room, but I started with Gesso so all the texture was finished and set before adding paint. Also, I painted over old canvas prints that were no longer wanted.

Textured black is always a great starting point. Pick two or three colors that match your needs/style/scheme and go from there, you won't be disappointed

Hallo Indie, hab das Bild als Grundlage für mich verwendet und einfachen Sand genommen. Es ist meiner Meinung nach recht gut geworden, obwohl ich keine weiße Farbe verwendet habe. Das hat bei mir einfach nicht so gut ausgesehen. Und es sollte ja vor allem auch keine Kopie deines Werkes sein. Danke nochmal für den Tip und liebe Grüße ♥

Sorry to bother you but I am brand new to painting and have no idea what I am doing. Love your painting and am trying to replicate it. Struggling a bit but I don't expect it to be an exact copy. You make it look so easy. The white parts are the most difficult for me. Any hints? Do you add any water or mediums to the white paint? Did you seal or varnish the painting? If yes did you use a matte, satin or gloss finish? Thank you so much for your videos.
