President Cyril Ramaphosa has been urged to prioritise the languages of the San people living in South Africa. In his speech, President Ramaphosa emphasised that all languages are important and should be treated the same way. Ramaphosa spoke during national Heritage Day celebrations which took place at Upington in the Northern Cape. The day started with the opening of an Indigenous language library and an interaction with speakers of different San languages.
