Many videos show to throw it vertically which is wrong you have to throw on 45 degree angle and you have to stand against the wind

Flicking with the wrist is not necessary, rotation can be achieved more accurately by not using a wrist action and letting the knuckles of the fingers impart rotation, steadier control of rate of spin, angle of layover, power and inclination can be achieved in this way, sport boomerangs are thrown directly at the horizon or to start out parallel in their path to the ground,not up.

@@rosa4458 So its only warfare with birds? Gotcha. I hate pigeons personally. Flying rats now have to dodge boomerangs 2 times. Also he mentions warfare, and as far as i know, to make it come back, you have to aim it up so it curves back. So it was a serious question based on trying to understand the physics involved.
